In November 2015, THE UNIT and RMS Consultants SARL signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA), strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two parties and regulating the undertaking of mutual projects. Dr. Mazen A. Khattab – Managing Partner of RMS Consultants SARL – assumed the role of Business Partner for Strategic Advisory under the MOA.
On April 1, The Unit signed a mandate with Enjaz Power to prepare a market assessment, definition of investment opportunity, development strategy, business plan, and high-level financials for the establishment of a business focused on investment in power generation, transmission, distribution, and ancillary infrastructure for selected African countries.
The Unit is currently acting as seller side advisor for several companies that are interested in partial or full exit. The related scope of work includes the preparation of valuation reports, the issuance of Information Memoranda, and engaging potential investors/buyers towards execution of transactions.
The Unit is commissioned to complete a market research, program definition, and financial feasibility study for a hotel development in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The project will be developed by Nofa, which has been working with The Unit for several other similar developments since 2009.
